Definition

  • A variety of drugs can damage kidney glomeruli.
    • Most common are drugs that induce proteinuria and nephrotic syndrome (NS).
    • Membranous glomerulopathy is the most common form reported.
  • For drugs that primarily damage the kidney tubules and interstitium, see Interstitial Nephritis.
  • For drugs that cause acute renal failure, see Acute Renal Failure.
