Definition
- Malignant neoplasms of the lung identified by histology of tumor cells
- Squamous cell or epidermoid carcinoma
- Adenocarcinoma (including bronchoalveolar)
- Large cell (also called large cell anaplastic) carcinoma
- Distinguished from small cell lung cancers, for which treatment is considerably different
