  • Malignant neoplasms of the lung identified by histology of tumor cells
    • Squamous cell or epidermoid carcinoma
    • Adenocarcinoma (including bronchoalveolar)
    • Large cell (also called large cell anaplastic) carcinoma
    • Distinguished from small cell lung cancers, for which treatment is considerably different
