    • Spectrum ranges from blood-streaking of sputum to coughing up large quantities of pure blood.
    • Most common causes
  • Massive hemoptysis: variably defined as expectoration of > 100 to > 600 mL over a 24-hour period
    • Most common causes
      • Tuberculosis
      • Bronchiectasis
