Definition

  • Behçet’s syndrome is a chronic multisystem inflammatory disorder of unknown cause.
    • Characterized by recurrent episodes of oral and genital ulcers, ocular inflammation, and cutaneous lesions
    • Vasculitis is the main pathologic lesion, affecting both arteries and veins of all sizes.
